ย I have beeen through a lot this week. After 3 days in the shop, the RV got repaired. Then I hung out with Heather and Fletcher, went to helping organizations, took my first nap in “forever”, did a session in the temple and got to take a SHOWER….a REAL shower….and today went to church where I heard one of the most fantastically inspirational talks ever.

If you are into praying and thinking good thoughts, I could use any and all. I found a cooperative house with organic permaculture gardens and all sorts of physical and social perks that I think would make me very, very happy ๐Ÿ™‚ I go for a tour and interview this week.

The weather here is ummmm….interesting. Rain, sun, cold then hot and sunny then instantly back to rain with thunder, lightning and incredible downbursts. Every place I have ever lived joked about how you just need to wait a minute and the weather will change. Portland wins hands down for it REALLY being true!

I did some exploring around the city today. Never have I seen such a beautifully jungley city as this. Flowers are everywhere and trees are HUGE and gorgeous. I love days when I can just enjoy the beauty and not be stressed out.

ย Even on the best of days, homelessness is stressful. I wander around looking for decent and safe places to park. Speaking of parks….I checked out several today. Wow! There are some very nice places tucked here and there around the city ๐Ÿ™‚

Remember…I could use some prayers to get into housing. It is soooooooo not easy to do in Portland for po’ folks like me!

One day I babysat Fletcher and later….Heather, the kid and I went to China Town for dim sum. Ohhhhh my gosh! That was good ๐Ÿ™‚ I ate carbs….lots of carbs. It’s always Heather’s fault ๐Ÿ˜› After that, we went to Voodoo Donuts only a few blocks away. I just about went into a carb coma. I had a maple bacon bar. Mmmmmmmm….. ย We brought home a voodoo donut for the hubby/father. Inside is raspberry gore ๐Ÿ˜›
