I got woken up early, as usual. I don’t think the picture is as dramatic as real life. I had big bags under my eyes. I sure felt like heck at 5 AM. I am swollen up from head to toes. There was a strange chemical smell coming from the bathroom vent. I’m not sure if my eyes are like that from my usual problems or the chemical, or both.
I really didn’t feel like going anywhere, but got ready for the park. It was dark and gloomy and cold on the way, then soon after getting to the park, the sun popped out. Then Heather called 🙂 Because I was out there with good cell reception, I got to do FaceTime while waiting for the food to show up.
I don’t know the correct name of the salty plant segments in a pile. I ate one and tossed the rest. I was willing to try them, but in all honesty, they were nasty. To me they tasted just like the bad smell here in the Salt Lake valley :-p
I pushed myself to go an extra two blocks each direction and went to the library to use their wifi. There was a new update for my phone, and I have to use wifi to get it. Afterwards I tried FaceTime again, but the reception was sketchy in the library atrium.
By the time I got back to my apartment, I was ready to collapse. It took “forever”, but I unpacked the food, took pictures of it and made lunch.
I accidentally squished the tomato, so decided to turn it into a sandwich with today’s baguette, free deli turkey I got using my Smith’s grocery app, cheese from the food shelf, plus kale chips from an earlier FNB giveaway. I toasted it in the George Forman grill and grabbed some pickles. Mmmmmm….
My breathing really sucks today. I am very SOB just sitting here. It has been more than a week now since the ER gave me the $%#*!! asthma attack. My lungs felt bad when I got to the ER and have gotten worse each day ever since. Sigh….
There are too many things wrong with me today to talk about them all. Just use your imagination…..
