My daughter had been thinking of coming here to visit us. Her husband has to go on a week long business trip and she was thinking that would be a good time to visit here.
Last night they realized it would be a whole lot easier to bring me to them. Heather booked me a plane to Oregon and back in December!
I am sooooooo excited! I miss Heather and Fletcher something fierce and now I get to meet and help take care of Porter.
Now for the logistics. Gulp. Rhett cannot stay here alone and he sure cannot manage clothes and food and transportation on his own. We are hoping they will let him stay in the blind school dorm for a week, but there might not be room. Having him there would be ideal…and fun for him.
If that’s not a possibility I need to find one of his relatives who can take over for a week to make sure he gets to school each day.
Then there’s my oxygen. When I lived in NY and flew to Utah last year, I had a national medical supplier called Lincare. They had a local company bring an oxygen concentrator to Rhett’s aunt’s house to use for a week. Now I have a supplier that just does business in Utah. I hope there is some sort of reciprocal arrangement.
Ahhhh…so much to think about! So much to do!!! I am sooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!
