I left after church on Sunday and headed for Yosemite. The first night I camped in Stanislaus NF in a place called The Pines. It was free 🙂 Monday night was at Hodgdon Meadow just inside Yosemite NP, then the last 4 nights were at Upper Pines in Yosemite Valley.
I took LOTS of pictures and will have to work at getting them from cell phone to blog. I had no cell service in YNP. Some people did, but no 3G Sprint for me. Right now I am just outside of the park, snitching some free wifi. I came into “civilization” to find an LDS church. Not sure where I will be tonight.
I had never been to Yosemite before and it’s REALLY GORGEOUS!!! 🙂 🙂
After I left Hodgdon Meadows, I went to Hetch Hetchy. Not many people go all the way up there to that part of the park.
The 5 days, 4 nights of staying in Yosemite Valley were spent exploring all the little nooks and crannies. When I first got there, it was HOT! Then we had 2 days and nights of rain. That made even more waterfalls pop out all over the sheer cliffs in the valley.
I sent myself the pics, have them on the computer and can’t get them posted. Maybe I should try a wifi somewhere else? Will move and add them later…..
